The cooperative has a Mill whose facilities include a line for the entrance of olives, a line for milling and their own filling machine.

It was born as a Cooperative in 1955, but it could be said that its founding fathers date back to former times as an association of olive producers of the area.

This is a unique spot as its location is the perfect place inside the heart of Sierra de Alcaraz, on the first foothills of this Sierra in the west, surrounded by mountains of more than 1,000 metres above sea level in the north, east and south, and the vast Manchego plains in the east. These characteristics of the soil and climate make it possible to have olive trees categorised as Mountain olive trees -more than 75,000- which provide the olive tree with a medium-scale production and olives of the highest quality. This makes this place one of the best in Spain regarding the quality of its oils.

Almost all our olives are of the variety Picual and our olive trees expand to the first adjacent areas of the province of Jaén (Sierra de Segura, Cazorla and Las Villas), producing the highest quality extra virgin olive oil.

Apart from ensuring the quality of our oil, more than the amount (that is why olives are exclusively picked in our area), we are extremely careful with the environment. Our farming activities are totally traditional, neither intruding into the nature nor exhausting resources. Depending on the season, around 3 million kilos of olives are picked.
